Nutrition Professionals Australia, working with the Maggie Beer Foundation has developed an online menu appraisal process, used by APDs for residential aged care homes.
The project aims, processes used, challenges, limitations and recommendations will be presented.
More than 100 residential aged care homes have participated in the menu appraisal process that provides insight into the status and limitations of written menus and their assessment.
Consistent findings and themes will be described which assist Chefs, Hospitality Managers and Accredited Practising Dietitians working in aged care.
