Elizabeth Oliver
During her 20-year career as an occupational therapist, Elizabeth has been a passionate advocate for the essential role that allied health plays in optimising outcomes for older adults. With a belief that enhancing mealtimes provides a pathway towards person-centred care, Elizabeth has led a range of high-impact culture change initiatives in the aged care sector, culminating in her recent leadership role within “Maggie Beer’s Big Mission”. In this innovative social experiment, Elizabeth's quest was to help to create a replicable model of meal time care to empower the host organisation and other aged care providers to lift the standard of mealtimes. Elizabeth is a sessional academic at Curtin University and founder of Memory Box Collective which aims to bring joy to older adults and those who care for them. She was named the WA Allied Health Leader of the Year for 2024 by the Chief Allied Health Office.
