Denise Cruickshank

Denise is an Advanced APD, has a Masters in Health Services Management and Graduate Certificate in Teaching. She has extensive experience in foodservice and clinical dietetics having managed Dietetic and Foodservices in public and private hospitals, consulted to Aged Care Homes and taught Foodservices and Clinical Dietetics at University. Currently, Denise is coordinator of the Queensland Health Statewide Foodservices Unit and is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the Qld Health Nutrition Standards for Meals and Menus, Qld Health Foodservices Best Practice Guideline and the Qld Health & National Allergy Strategy Food Allergen Management in Foodservices Best Practice Guideline. In addition Denise is responsible for overseeing the sourcing and development of training for foodservice staff, dietitians and coordinating annual workshops for foodservices and dietetic staff across Queensland Health.
