Kaye Veri - Quality Manager ISS Facility Services - SA Health Contract, based at Flinders Medical Centre but also overlook Modbury Hospital Food Services. I completed my apprenticeship as a Chef in a small Hospital in SA - Noarlunga Hospital before going - onto other roles within Hotel Services - the final role Manager Hotel Services. After 19 years within SA Health it was time for a new challenge, in 2019 I joined ISS in my current role where my passion for providing an enjoyable and healthy food service to patients can really be utilised. To help our team ensure we have a balanced menu we have an ongoing Food Quality Plan - Our measurables include reviewing food wastage trends, feedback and patient satisfaction rates. Today I hope to show you our vision of how we can merge these two worlds to not only provide a nutritious meal service, but also reduce food wastage from both production and consumption.
